We bring attention to the surgical and anesthetics needs in a global setting and represent underserved local and international communities with inadequate access to surgical services.

EDUCATION

We strive to facilitate educational experiences in global surgery as well as work with universities across Canada to develop a global surgery curriculum and career tracks to provide professional development and mentorship.

RESEARCH 

At CGSTA, we aim to increase research capacity by identifying problems, setting objectives, and working towards sustainable solutions. Currently, we are developing a repository for medical students and residents all across Canada.
