Building the Singal Medical Centre - Case Study

The Queen's chapter of the CGSTA is hosting an interactive case-study event on Tuesday, April 6th from 9-10am EST led by Dr. Mushtaq Ahmed and Dr. Rehman Alvi, two General Surgeons and Faculty Members at the @AKUGlobal in Pakistan.

Case introduction: In 1992, a program was initiated to build a surgical center in Singal, an isolated, remote, and mountainous town in Northern Pakistan. This event will be interactive, including breakout rooms for discussion of the case study, group discussion of challenges faced by the surgeons, and first-hand insight on how these challenges were addressed at local, institutional, and organizational levels.
